WASHINGTON, DC -- In remembrance of the 21st anniversary of the Beirut bombing of the Marine Barracks, there will be a Remembrance Ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery, on Saturday October 23, 2004.
11:00 - Remembrance Ceremony - Section 59 - Given by the White House Commission on Remembrance (formerly known as No Greater Love)
Luncheon following Hosted by White House Commission on Remembrance ($15/per person) (contact Ben at 202.783-4665)
2:00 - Wreath Laying Ceremony - Tomb of the Unknown - Arlington National Cemetery - Presented by Beirut Veterans and Family Members.
Former Commandant of the Marine Corps, General Al Gray is scheduled to appear at both ceremonies.
7:00 Dinner / Reunion / Meeting
The Beirut Veterans of America will be forming the DC/Baltimore Chapter this weekend at their Dinner. Capital City Brewing Co., Shirlington (Arlington, VA) beginning at 7:00 pm and is open to anyone.
