Kid Wisdom Kid’s Wisdom:
* Talking about whether gas expands when it is heated, I would definitely say yes and no.
* Alkaline can cause red litmus paper to turn blue. So far as I know, this is its only talent.
* Glycerin is a sweet oily BOOM!
* Say you have some nitrogen. That is alright. Say you mixed it with glycerin. Then don’t say I didn’t warn you!
* Sound waves are now used to ferment wines. These sound waves are very high.
* Hot weather makes the mercury in a thermometer struggle up and up and up. It would rather just sit there and be cold.
* A fire must have oxygen, but not too much. Giving it too much is known as blowing it out.
* Hydrogen is a bombious gas.
* Iron is very useful unless it meets oxygen. Then it is rust. It is like a person getting in with the wrong crowd.
* Philters were magic things put on cigarettes a 1000 years ago.
Of course, there were no cigarettes of that long ago, which is what made the philters magic.
* One of the more useful by-products of fire is heat. If you put a piece of copper in a hot flame,
fine powder starts forming on it. This is the way copper says Ouch.
