My friend Rick was attempting to start his small bulldozer.
When the battery wore down after several tries, he brought his car up to give it a boost.
But then his car ran out of gas. So his wife drove in to town, a couple of kilometres away, to get some more. After about an hour, she finally showed up carrying a 20-litre can of gas.
When Rick asked where her car was, she said she’d run out of gas on her way back and had to walk home. Rick looked at her in amazement.
"Why didn’t you use the gas you were carrying?"
"I didn’t think of it," she replied sheepishly.
