No major 'famous' people as of yet in my lines but I am researching many lines both paternal and maternal. The above photo is my GGGGrandfather.

I think nostalgia really kicks in when people come to the realization that many people that are important to them are long gone or they have suffered a personal loss. I started in genealogy because I was missing something ......

.....what I found were many good friends/acquaintances and a few unknown relatives around the world.
