| Civilians | Hi, I have an old photograph, that I need help with. There are 14 soldiers and 9 of them are smoking Sherlock Holmes type pipes (large bent pipes with lids). One subject has "KG" on his chest, and another has it on his knees. I am far from being an expert, but I think they may be Austrian. I can send you an image if this helps. What does the KG stand for, and what country are they from? |

| Civilians | After searching the internet I may have found what KG stands for - Kampfgeschwader (a bomber squadron of the former German Luftwaffe). Am I correct, or totally stupid? You can contact me at michael(no spam)@musgrave6537.freeserve.co.uk Please remove "(no spam)" first |
