Default Re: My cousin’s son letter home from Afghanistan

I just got a e-mail from Mike with a list of things his team and him need like gas rings, auto and semi disconectors, Extractor and hammer springs, Accu-wedges along with some other larger parts that I am passing on to DPMS. If anyone has some extra of these items and would like to donate to Mike and his A-team I would be more then happy to pass them along to him.

Mike and his guys are doing well and sent me these pictures I had sent him a DPMS banner but as he said;

Quote:
we will get a pic with the banner but it will have to wait till we are done with missions. We are not taking team pics anymore cause last trip every time we took a team pic a teammate got smoked. So we will do it after 12 Dec.

Exclamation Re: My cousin’s son letter home from Afghanistan

Scott -

Before I go ballistic about the above, I need to get your clarification that those guys do NOT have the weapons parts they must have to do battle in A'stan?

If not, I will bust hump and spread the word to get them whatever they need.

But, I want to be absolutely 100% sure:
a. I understood the meaning of your post.
b. I know exactly what parts they require for what weapons or equipment.

When/if I do reach out and touch my sources, I will get only one shot at it... so I gotta be 100% accurate first time.

Thanks Bluehauk
Mike had sent me a list of specialized parts that his team wanted to buy from DPMS for there personal M4 weapons. Parts like SureFire V-grip lights, 11” uppers, etc along with some small parts. I sent Mike the gas rings and extractor springs today and the rest DPMS is going to handle. Being SF and out in the mountains of Afghanistan I suppose they go through a lot of these small FCG parts.
