I found this great website on POW/MIA Captain Scott Speicher. I pray we are able to find him alive in Iraq and get him home. If he is still alive, he has been in captivity for 13 years. We must never forget men like him.

Sadly, I never believed that Scott Speicher was alive after GWI.

I'm fairly certain that ONE American, kept alive and in captivity since the end of Desert Storm, simply could not be kept secret, and that someone, somewhere, would have leaked the information.

They investigated the crash site and, from what I read, there was an indication he may have parachuted, but he easily could have succumbed to injuries, been killed while trying to reach safety (by either accidental friendly fire that went unnoticed or by Iraqi's that found him) and the odds of him surviving are just too great to dismiss.

I agree the chances of him being alive are slim but there are people out there who believe very strongly that he is alive and still in captivity. It must be such a horror for his family to not know either way. I hope they kick Saddam in the nuts every day and say, "where is Scott Speicher?"

We have to know and have to do what it takes to find out. Remember all the resources that were called in to find JFK Jr? Scott Speicher and his family deserves no less.

This individuals case has become politicized as much of the rest of the PW/MIA issue. Its sucksto see a lot of his families hopes being raised.

I agree. After 13 years, I doubt he is a POW.
