| Non-Commissioned Officer ![]() | This; bar NONE, is the most realistic simultator I've ever used. Even with my fancy Saitek X52 it's quite a challenge. ![]() Flew some sorties, and got splashed several time. Ole '*****ing Betty' just screaming, 'master alarm/pull up' and.. well, you get it. Even with 'eject' a button away, sometimes I'd still hit the dirt. I suppose I need to learn to 'let it go' sooner. HA!!! NEVER!!!!!!!!!!! Anyrate, I need a drink to steady me nerves. -cheers- |

| Non-Commissioned Officer ![]() | Well, I got tired of trying to remember the almost 90 button commands I programmed into the X52. So, I made a sheet in OpenOffice; the FREE M$ Office replacement, and put it up on my second monitor. Basically, Mode 1 is Air to Air, Mode 2 is Air to Ground, and Mode 3 is for take off/landing and misc. aircraft controls that are not really combat related. A lot of them are duplicates in all modes, however it's a pain to remember which ones DO change. And no, not every command in F4 is here, there are several more that I use the keyboard for. Like GAIN, auto pilot, views, EWS program selection, and others. Also, it's Falcon 4.0 Allied Force, not assault. But hey, it's a 'take on N. Korea' sim, so whatever. Welp, off to save the world. ![]() |
