Based on my past experience, I recommend password protecting any public server that you setup for Trackpads. It would be fine to set it up so there is a default channel that anyone can jump on, and then have the actual Trackpads channels password protected to keep out the people that just randomly jump on different servers and cause problems for other users.

For the default channel, I would use the lowest quality codec in order to act as a deterrent. You can see an example of what I mean by jumping on the TS server for my clan (the QSF clan). I will send a PM (private message) with the IP.
