Is there a time limit on how long a former character and inventory can be
reclaimed?

Is there any way of transferring stuff between servers now?

There have been no character wipes yet, but the devs keep saying that it
will happen soon

Can you say "Arm Twisting"??

The Ultima Online Devs threatened character wipes for 5 years..... yet
I have never known anybody who returned to the game that didn't find
their chqaracters still there.

The accepted answer to Part 1 is that you're good for at least 6 months. In
actuality, so far at least, there have been no character wipes. There is
talk, which a lot of Mayors & Politicians hope comes to Fruition of a
Housing Purge where structures owned by Canceled accounts will be packed up
into their datapads and removed from the landscape. This would allow Dead
Harvester fields and ghost towns to disappear and allow much more housing
options as well as reducing server lag. (The huge number of abandoned
building is one of the problems that Bria has). IF the implement the
structure purge, it would affect accounts that have been closed for at least
6 months and they'll give "plenty of warning" before they do it.

As to character transfer, David Cherry was partially right. There is a
Character Transfer Service which will work from any server for a $30 fee.
It's not guaranteed to go through, and you won't be able to take everything
with you, but a lot of inventory/money I think will. You should check the
main site for information on it. People on Bria however, can get 1 Free
Character Transfer to any other server to try to mitigate the Server Lag
from Excess Population & abandoned Structures (Bria's last to load & has had
lots of problems with downtime over the past few months). Force Sensitive &
Jedi characters CANNOT be transferred period.
