It would be nice if they finally did get the vehicles fixed so the enter/exit button toggles correctly, or that the repairs actually stick. The AFK, NPC spam filter is definately going to rock, but does that qualify as one of the most important publishes? I am looking forward to finally being able to get the rest of the hermit badges (only have Intellect and Altruism so far), but honestly. This patch is catering to the Jedi population while the rest of the population stagnates. The GCW has been lifeless since before the bases came out. Combat in the form of PVP has been non-existant since they broke combat to prepare for the combat rebalance, except for some temploiters. Combat in the form of PVE is still messed up as they get ready for the combat rebalance. The critter changes have been made and broken back in the January timeframe, while telling us the GCW and combat rebalance would be ready in a couple months. Instead, we are now catering to the smallest population on the servers (except for Rangers) and giving them two publishes in a row while everything that has been broken still remains broken. Saying that this is the most important publish pisses in the eye of the game population. - Oalan |

| Civilians | Remember that while these publishes do revamp Jedi, the reason they're the most important, is that they do away with the hologrind. Speaking as a Smuggler, I'm not thrilled that Jedi get so much attention, but the hologrind was definitely a slow death for the game. The fact that SOE is taking two publishes to fix things is encouraging actually. If this were EQ, they'd have spit it out in a week and then spent two years fixing it, as it is there will be MINOR bugs (aren't there always), but nothing compared to the worst case. Smugglers, Rangers, GCW, combat will all get love. Maybe not as soon as I'd like, but it will happen. -Darklion13 "Oalan" <Spam_Sucks@I.hate.it> wrote in message news:Hzps34.2AL@news.boeing.com... > "Teflon Mage" <webmaster@defendersofparagon.com> wrote in message > news:rYUBc.675$4W3.113@newssvr31.news.prodigy.com. .. > > > http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/b...411713#M411713 > > > > What makes me mad is that JustG had the gall to say this is one of the > most important publishes ever. | Civilians | ARGH and I am mastering ID at a painfully slow pace. and this patch only benefits master ID's who already mastered without a timer. I think that now what will happen since novices get 2000 exp for Stat changes we will be PAYING others to change their stats and Masters will lose money because the players will look for non masters to stat change them for free. There has to be a better way Cynnamon "Teflon Mage" <webmaster@defendersofparagon.com> wrote in message news:rYUBc.675$4W3.113@newssvr31.news.prodigy.com. .. > http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/b...&message.id=41 1713#M411713 > > |
