Default which is better for a person with stats all setto mind?..

Heres another newbie question...lol...seems i have lots..

my situation is i am going for master riffle and ch ..
as a riffleman i use two mind draining shots ..headshot3 and mindshot 2..is
there a mindshot 3 hiding somewhere?..anyhoo i migrated my stats all to mind
because i have a few guildmates who are master docs and usually i get a good
body buff .

the problem is when they arent on my charictor is unplayable as a single
bite from a wrix can put me dow..buffed i can take on sharns 6 at a time and
dispose of them in a couple shots each.
unbuffed im useless and going to cnet and paying up to 12k for a buff is
costing me more as a new player then i make doing missions.

sorry about the book so far just wanted to make it clear my issue..lol...
and that is should i go for doc to buff myself and others or go tk and
healmyself?

it isnt a easy question to me at least because im not sure which is easier
to get and is a self heal as good as being 2500 buffed on all stats?

again i have migrated my body to like 400 each and mind high as being a
sniper it helps me to make those killing shots...

nobody is very clear on what it takes to do a good doc buff on ones self
being the drug cost etc...verses making a self healing macro and fighting it
out....also i am tired of being weak up close as a sniper..so theres a tough
call that maybe sombody can add insight too.

also i notice everyone likes to be mysterious this game..lol..hard to get
even a hello out of the older players as they are busy trying to make jedi
etc..lol..even my guild mates are busy on far planets doing
whatever..lol..as a newb it is all very intimidating...you hate to bother
people with a billion newb questions.
a good example is getting a doc buff...nobody talks and all you see is a
line...sometimes they will shout a instruction but often its utter silence
and your supposed to just figure out what to do as a newb..lol

i hope this makes sense lol

The next time you get buffed by a guildmate or fork over the money for some,
head to Dantooine.
You'll need to be in a good group for this, and usually there are some on
Dantooine who would love to group with a high level elite combat profession
like yourself for the mission difficulty bonus. Your goal is to get Janta
missions. They pay anywhere from 19k to 26k each and they really aren't too
difficult to beat if you have good kinetic resist armor.

You should be able to make 500k credits from one buff session easy.

I used to be able to make 300k/hr, doing this... Unfortunately, half the
missions are no longer paying. I'm beginning to think that they are trying
to nerf our ability to earn money from hunting? Bug, or not, there is
something up.

That said, his advice is solid. I can make a million credits in about 3hrs
on my main toon. Helps keep the family in comp armor and bivoli, and
brandy, and sigh....must I go on?

I am following the same path. I have a Wookiee on Valcyn that I
started the game with the third week after release. He was a Bounty
HUnter till about two months ago when I decided to switch over.

Right now he is at 4/1/3/3 Rifleman and 3/3/1/3 CH (I think).

As for the money, I will let others here tell you the best way to grab
cash. My guy is well established and runs a raiely profitable mining
business selling respurces to a couple of successful architects.

Most of my experience has come from hunting meats for my BE. She goes
through 20K meat in a flash making nutrients for chefs!! However,
right now I am concentrating on Rancors on Dathomir and finding that
under the right conditions I can solo them. Of course having a good
tank pet helps a LOT. You might want to try using Some Brandy and
canapes to buff up your mind and maybe migrating some hit points back
over to your Action and Health... but that's entirely up to you.

As for the Mind and planting so much of your strength over to that
area.... I think when the Combat Revamp comes out they are planning on
making mind healable somehow. That will change a LOT of things!

Everything for the PvP faction you know!!!

Krom,

Another suggestion for you is to do a search for any helper player. Those
that mark themselves with this tag are usually very respectable individuals
who enjoy helping newer players get their start in the galaxy.

What server are you on by the way?

Ryan

Janta missions have always paid out for me. Running Voritor missions on the
other hand for the combat xp or scout xp would sometimes leave me without a
payment.

Now that's a rip off. Of course, it depends on the server, but 12k?? Nah, 6k
should be enough, that's 1k per stat.
