| Civilians | Just for fun I wrote a reaction speed test program (and reaction trainer?) in the style of a fp-shooter (don't expect monsters). It measures your personal 'ping' between eyes, brain and hand (maybe other organs inbetween boys are said to think with). I am an once-in-a-while gamer and an easy victim because of the lack of training. I wrote the program because I wanted to know how much faster reflexes an experienced gamer has. I achive a personal time lag of at best 235ms. By the program you are challenged with chasing an unpredictably moving target, like you must follow an opponent jumping around in a fps game. You can read more and get it here: http://www.draebenstedt.de/reaction/reaction.html If you have fun with it you can post your results and recommendations here or mail them to the address mentioned on the site. Is there anyone who is consistently much faster than ~240 ms? Alexander |

I almost believed ~250ms lag is a constant of nature, because all colleques I tested so far fell in that range.
