Default Help With Video Card Decision

I need some help from all you computer geniuses.
For some time now I've been considering getting a new
video card. I'm now happy with the performance I'm getting
from the one I have now. My specs.

Windows XP Home
2.66 Ghz Pentium 4
512 MB of memory
Sound off the mother board.
ATI RADEON 9000 Pro Video card

The card I'm thinking about getting is a
POWERCOLOR ATI RADEON 9600XT ULTRA w/ Overdrive.

This card is around $160+. That's a big investment for me.
My question is, how much better performance can I expect
from
this card? I'm sure it will improve but can anyone tell me
how much ?
Will I be totally blown away or will I only see a little
improvement?

As always, your input is appreciated.

9600 Pro / XT is going to be the best bang for your buck IMHO and I run a
AIW 9600Pro and have it with everything maxed and it's smooth and clean
@1024x768-32bit@ 85hertz. It will be a big jump from your 9000 and I don't
think you will be disapointed.
