I completely agree. You shouldn't be hidden from copters in the grass...

Depends a lot on the map and which side you're on. For example, in
Operation Irvine, US-side, your best choice is sniper. Catch the
mountain spawnpoint, and you rule the entire map.

Oh, and when you see those logpiles, try this:
- Stand in front of the logpile
- Select knife or pistol
- Shoot at the vertical piece of wood in the middle below the spiked log

I was playing as a gunner in a helicopter, and someone was accusing the
pilot of "cheating", saying that the pilot had intentionally turned his
graphics down to low quality (how he "knew" this, I'll never know) with the
intention of being able to see ground targets better.

I play with my graphics quality on High, and it's still super easy to see
ground targets from a 'copter. Grass doesn't cut it. Trees will hide you,
though.
