Default FH 0.6 patch - over 1gb!

Even on broadband this will take all night - still should be worth it.

1 megabit cable here, 256 up too...£35 a month (Blueyonder). They do a
2 megabit service for £55/month but guess what, yes 256 kbps up!!

I just installed cable for my sister who just uses it for Internet, etc.
And did a speed test and she got 3Mb/s...3 times what I get on my higher
priced DSL (though the customer service is tops). IS there any reason
NOT to switch. We are in different cities, but they would both be from
Adelphia. I've heard that cable has worse latency. Anyways, my year
contract with DSL is up, and I'm ready for something faster, as I am out
of range for anything faster.

My latency was worse with DSL, but I was really far from the CO,
almost too far to get it. 3mbit rocks!

That's my problem...I am just barely within range, and my 1.5mbit line
is knocked down to 768 because of it. I think its time for a change as
soon as I get all my email settled (god I hate changing email addresses,
but I have my own domain now so it will never be a problem again.
