1.6 Patch ?

I am downloading the 1.6 patch.....
Is the patch go straight on to my V1.0 of BF 1942

If it's a full patch, then that's all you need. The full patch is called
"battlefield_1942_patch_v1.6.19.exe". If it's a incremental, the name is
something like "battlefield_1942_patch_v1.5-v1.6.19_incremental.exe".
Known to cause problems, I stay away from the incrementals.

Well that was helpful, when a simple "Yes" would have worked.

Yes the 1.6 patch will bring your game right up to date as long as you
use the full patch not an incremental one.

I wonder if the incremental patch is the cause of control settings being
wiped out from time to time in DC ? Me and a few others have had that
problem, and I used the incrementals for vanilla, but the full for DC.
