Default 786mb to 1GB RAM - is it worth it?

I've just upgraded my memory from 256mb to 768mb but is it worth going all
the way to 1gb? Would it make any difference to BF at all?

Also, is it worth getting the latest drivers (catalyst, I think they're
called?) for my ATI Radeon 9600 pro? The ones that came with it work
perfectly ok and the site says not to bother unless I'm having problems,
which I'm not.

Naah you won't notice much diff going from 768 to 1gb
of ram in BF or most any game of app out right now.

Vid drivers are a weird thing, some can run the very newest
some can't. If you have no problems stick with what you have
or upgrade them to a newer version but not the very newest.
HairyC is running 9700pro and 4.2 drivers and never
heard him complain about problems (except for FH .6
