Default RADEON PROB.

i got bluescreen.
it says something about ati2dvag and hanging up and loops and etc. have to
push reset to start cpu again.

and another prob is when im on bf and hit Esc it goes on setup screen but
freezed. cant go back in to game, Alt + Tab doesnt works and Ctrl + Alt +
Del is unuseful. Reset helps in here too. Has happened in both secret
weapons and DC dont know about vanilla couse server is not running it so i
havent tested it. Original vannilla single play works fine, the prob seems
to be only when connected on server.

specs:
amd 2500+ barton (fsb 333MHz)working at 1.83GHz
EPOX 8krai (via kt600 chip)Mobo
Club 3D radeon 9600 pro
1 * 512 Mb ddr ram 400Mhz working at 333MHz

radeons drivers:
Ati driver version 6.14.10.6422
Catalyst version 04.2
Packaging version 7.981-040127m-013420C ATI

AGP is setted 4x, fast write is off

and if i missed something, ask please.

Thanks for all help.

I just finished building an AMD 3000 with a 9600 pro for a friend of
mine. When I installed the latest catalyst drivers the machine would
lock up just sitting at the desktop. It eventually stopped booting
altogether. I reinstalled Win2k and used the omega drivers.
Everything was good.

Are you setting AGP 4x and fast write in the bios or with smartgart?

Omega recommends that fast writes be turned on with their drivers and the
9600Pro, OR you can lower the Hardware Acceleration slider
one notch in the Windows display options.
FlycutterŽ has a good suggestion though, set the AGP Apeture & fast
writes in BIOS, not with smartgart...
If you decide on using the Omega drivers, be sure to read the release
