Joysticks on battlefield 1942, help plz

Hi there

Ive recently bought Battlefield 1942, and was noticing how crap I was
at flying, so I have bought a Logitec wingman extreme joystick.

Ive installed it, and the diagnostic showed all the buttons worked,
but it doesnt work in game.

What am I missing?

Also, what are the buttons for flying a helicopter? I downloaded
desert combat, and it was a bit difficult to me.

I understand practise makes perfect, but have u any general tips?

Did you setup your joystick for 'air' in the options menu?
