Default Play on XP

Hi folks!

(uk.misc included coz I know what nice chaps you are and C&C seems to be a
pr0n nest anyway)

I have the original boxed Command and Conquer. and a PC running a clean XP
install.

Is there any way that they can be persuaded to talk to each other?

I know that there's a patched dll that you can obtain from some scrupulous
source but I can't even get the damn thing to install!

Footnote: Nope, same old ****. "Just install it and run the patch." Thanks.

Have you tried the 'combilibility' tab on the Properties page (right
click on the programme file)?

I was intending to do that with the win95 version on an XP computer, but
when I tried to install the game it wouldn't install. I just got a
message box to say that the programme is for win95 only, then the
install programme closed when I clicked on it.

Try making the Install file 95 compatible in the same way, works
sometimes.
