slow network performance

i dont know if this hasa been discussed but here goes anyways...... i have
been playing zero hour now for sevral weeks and when i try to join a friends
game his game isnt in the server list..... any one have any ideas what the
problem could be...... second when i play a friend over the net against
three comps the game runs a a crawl i have been watching my internet
connection with a connect speed utility and have noticed that im not even
using 10% of the connection speed .... has anyone else noticed this also

this is my system speqs

athlon xp 2500 wiht radeon 9600xt and 1 gig ram i even have the radeon over
clocked my dsl is 768 down and 128 up thanks in advanced
