Default Video Card Set-Up

I just got an ATI RADEON 9800 PRO video card.
Upgraded from an 9000 pro. Anyone got any
suggestions on the best settings for this card?
Display Properties, in-game settings, etc.
I want to get the best out of it for BF 42 and BF V.
Running Win XP Home. 512 meg ram, 2.66 GHz P4
and sound off the mother board.

As always, thanks a bunch.

Hi, you could try the omega drivers that are optimized to get the best out
of your card.

Everything on/high except anti-aliasing would be a good place to start. Turn
off Fast/Combined writes.

Another 512Mb RAM would speed up your map loads a lot.

Lorian.

It doesn't seem to matter in BFV. My son only has 512MB of slightly
faster memory than my 1G. I have a 2.85P4, he has a 2600+AMD. I
think his hard drive is faster. Most of the time he spawns before I
do.

We both have our CDs mounted virtually via daemon tools.
