| Civilians | Alas, WON is going away, and it is the end of an era. Out with the old, in with the new. On the bright side, I disabled the bots and much to my surprise, Cold Ice actually runs under Steam! If any brave souls want to give it a try, you must first download Cold Ice, which can be found here: http://www.emberts.com/~coldice/coldicesetup.exe It's a 17MB download. Run it, point to \<Your Steam Directory>\SteamApps\<user name>\Half-Life\ directory. Then try my server at OoksServer.no-ip.info:27013. You can: 1) Add OoksServer.no-ip.info:27013 to your Favorites 2) connect OoksServer.no-ip.info:27013 in the console 3) Set game type to All, and wait an hour for it to refresh the list. Look for the only server with a Game type of "Ice" and...hmm...I just did this and it's not there, so it may take some time before it shows up. I'm very curious as to how well this mod runs under Steam. I tried it a while ago and it was crash city, I'm not sure if removing the bots fixed the problem, or if Valve changed something? |
