need help with level "on thin ice"

even if i play on the lowest difficulty, distroy the dropship at the start
of level, bring the recycler to the nav point... I'm attacked there by 5
alien ships at once which destroy me every single time..
what can i do?

After level start change vehics with your wingman. The scout is better
for baiting and the AI in the tank makes most effective use of its
firepower. After deploying rec build one scav to scavenge, and deploy
the next two scavs on the nearest pools. There should be enough time to
build enough turrets to fend off the first attack wave. Dont forget to
bait every single attacking vehicle and simply try to stay alive while
your turrets take care of the wave.
