| Jr. Officer ![]() | I didn't have to guess at #10, but got them all. I think maybe I'm too old. Interestingly, on a game show (Cash Cab) yesterday, they asked what the Latin phrase was for the intersection of three roads, usually referred to now as meaningless or non-important information. Scroll down for answer. tri via.

| Non-Commissioned Officer ![]() | Amazing how that "dead" language keeps coming back to haunt us, huh jj? But looking back, I am sure glad that it was a required in my high school. "Lions and tigers and bears - oh my!" makes me chuckle. I thought for sure everybody would have seen The Wizard of Oz at least a zillion times by now. Ollie, you were the second gent (the first a friend who did radio communications in Vietnam) who "guessed" that answer but wasnt 100% positive. The one that almost stumped me was #3 - the Pogo quote. I chose the answer that seemed to be one that I had heard somewhere over the years. I may even have seen that cartoon although I really don't remember off hand when or where. No truer a reflection about our own personal worst enemy than Pogo's wisdom though! "He is us!"

| Snake-eater ![]() | Well, I got 20 right with no guesses. I must be a FOG. I took Latin, 4 years was required where I went to school (Jesuit education). I do remember my Latin teachers favorite saying: "Non illegitimi carborundum".
