We have a Theme Quiz this week on naming the initials of people and places. We'll give you the initials and you figure out what those letters stand for.

1. What do the initials ROTC stand for in the field of education?

2. Given the initials NRA, name that organization and the famed movie star who recently served as its chief executive.

3. Another noted organization is the SAG, which was once chaired by a future national office holder. Name the group and the famed screen star who was once its chief executive.

4. What do the initials ABC, in reference to a top television bureau, represent?

5. What is the spelling out of the letters for USSR, the Iron Curtain area that has fallen by the wayside?

6. Another leader in the communications field bears the famed initials CBS. Spell out CBS.

7. Write out the words of a government bureau that bears the initials CIA. Add in the name of the then-future chief executive who was once the director of this body.

8. NBC is another of the major broadcasting field's leading agencies. What do the initials spell out as?

5. USSR is defined as the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, which fell in 1996.

6. CBS shows the initials representing Columbia Broadcasting System, Inc.

7. George H.W. Bush, our 41st president, whose son is now in the White House, was once the director of the CIA, which spells out as the Central Intelligence Agency.

8. NBC is the National Broadcasting Company.

9. SAC is "Strategic Air Command," the film named for the nuclear strike force that disbanded in 1992.

10. A UFO is an Unidentified Flying Object.
