Remember how Hannibal used to start off us with some of the best story threads - to see where the Trackpads' troops heads were at? I thought it would be fun to restart the Story Thread concept. The writer creates up to three sentences with subsequent writers also limiting themselves to three sentences but modifying the story-line to their fancies in those three. So, without further ado ...

It was a comfortable, late summer afternoon at Ft. Pad and in nearby Padtowne - an otherwise rather ordinary day. Online today, following the chatter, the TP Saloon-goers were discussing a myriad of subjects over their martinis, margaritas, pina coladas and JB mixed with anythings.
