| Head Mouse Trainer   |  NFL Investigates Injury From Mascot  Officials with the NFL now plan to formally investigate the accident that injured New Orleans Saints reserve quarterback Adrian McPherson during a game in Nashville. The Tennessee Titans' raccoon mascot ran into Adrian McPherson with a golf cart during second-half warm-ups last Saturday. McPherson missed practice Monday and Tuesday with a deep bruise on his right kneecap. An MRI done during the weekend was negative, McPherson said, but he also said he could miss up to two weeks. McPherson said he was attempting to field a punt, running nearly full-speed, during second-half warm-ups when he was hit. McPherson said he remembered very little of the incident.
