Post Scene It 1.

This is an open discussion thread. The idea is that, while many scenes in Hollywod movies are shot in the same old area (LA), at times movies and TV shows shoot your local area. If you have a story to tell, this is the place. Tell us the movie/show and describe the scene for us, then tell us where it was shot.

4 instance.
I posted this elsewhere, but it gave me the idea for this thread.
In the movie "A Christmas Story", there is a scene with the family watching the Christmas parade and looking in a large window of a store at the display. THey are in a large open area. The store was actually the Higbee Department store in Cleveland, the large open area Public Square. Later, when the kids went to talk to Santa, he was actually located on the 9th floor of the store building. You could take an elevator to get there, or several separate escalators (one per floor)
