I couldn't give a rip about any of those stations listed, and I'm glad that DISH network is taking a stand.


However, guess who charges up to four times more than other cable channels to cable companies for their station?

ESPN.

The cable industry pays more to that cable station (owned by ABC/Disney) than any other, and they have the cable companies over a barrel, cause they wouldn't dare drop them.

MTV used be real great. Fantastic stuff. The day they began to suck up to record companies and I started hearing a few songs about a 100 times a day, I quit watching MTV. Radio is headed that way too

Don't need or watch any of those....even Speed Channel lost it's appeal when it went from the old Speedvision (which was great!) to become a virtual mouthpiece and showroom...the "NASCAR" channel. No disrespect to NASCAR fans, but there are other forms of motorsports...some of them not even on land.

The "premium" cable services are about to shoot themselves in the foot by pricing themselves out of the market by failing to recognize any limitations.

Want to see player salaries, stadiums seat ticket prices, and subscription services prices come down, sports fans? ....Simple...stay away for a while. If you feeling yourselves getting gouged, well...it takes two parties to do that....
