| Stormy Weather Witch ![]() | Tell me, are country music artists republican? The way they sing about our country & the war, I truly believe that they are Bush supporters. What country songs about the war are your favorite? Do you agree with the country songs that are being written? Tell me your thoughts and I will tell you mine. My favorite is from Robert Montgomery, Letters from Home. |

| Gun Truck Gunner (MK19) ![]() | same favorite here.... when i went over you cherished getting letters... and it's just a cool song. Country songs have been primarily pro troops across the board. What disgust me is Eminem's new video of a guy in dcu and his family in a very anti-bush, anti-war format marching in on the state of the union in protest.. It was pretty sickening in my opinion

| Stormy Weather Witch ![]() | I respect Eminem although I am not his fan. Anyone can opt their views and I will respect it. Country music though has a way with your soul and heart. They feel what we feel. Their heart is where our heart is, with our troops. But nonetheless, if anyone wants to condemn the war, I will always respect it though I may not agree. |

With so many to choose from it's not easy. Think I still have to go with David Worley's "Have You Forgotten." To me it just keeps getting more and more appropriate. People seem to forget so quickly if there is nothing big happening in the news, and with the way the news is "reported" it's always negative it seems. There are several country artists that have shown support for republicans, President Bush, and our troops. Sara Evans and Daryl Worely being just two of them. Sara Evans has been to a couple of shows sponsored by Sean Hannity that were done to support the troops. Hannity has also started some sort of scholarship for children of troops KIA. | |

| Monkey Mouse ![]() | Lee Greenwood's 'Proud to be an American' is my all time favorite. I also like the one's mentioned so far. I agree that this music speaks to our hearts and souls.
