| Icing Queen   |  Church Short on Funds for Big Ass Fan A New York Church that raised eyebrows when it purchased a giant fan from Big Ass Fans said it is now having trouble paying to install the cooling device. Parishioners of Our Lady of Refuge Church said the 240-pound fan was purchased from the Kentucky company after a fundraising effort but they have now discovered the fan will require an additional $24,995 for installation, the New York Daily News reported Thursday. "We acknowledge the fact that we're a church, but we still have secular needs like paying our electricity," parishioner Ronald Holder said. Big Ass Fans announced it is seeking to help the church pay for installation by offering employees the option of wearing shorts to work Friday in exchange for $10 donations to the church.
