| NCO ![]() | Just wanted to give a quick hi. We gpt hit with ice storm yesterday (Monday) got about 4 to 5 inches of ice. Been out of power since about 7 PM Mon and its 1041Pm Tuesday. phones just came back up. Sorry about my typing. Try typing with a cabdle. NOT fun. Well froze so no water. but that' s a cost for living in rural country. Barrowing my brother's laptop since his has power. Hope to have my computer, electric and water up by the time I get home tomorrow from work. Could I get someone to check my PETZ wednesday? especially if I can't make it on line. I'll pay you back Thanks eD

| Banned ![]() | Hey Dragon! You need to breathe some fire and melt that stuff. Seriously, I hope you come through this horrible weather okay and that lights, power, and other utilities are back up and warming you and yours soon. In my prayers Ed. Love, Betty |

| Racy Ol' Lady ![]() | I'm sorry you're under such depressing weather, Ed! I don't know how to help with the petz, but hopefully somebody who does know will help out with yours. I can certainly sympathize your lack of water, but at least when we had the problem with our well, we could get the bottled water without going through ice. I hope you have a gas stove and/or a fireplace so you can get warm inside. If you get the gallons of water, do what Beast suggested for me. Get the Huggies or some kind of adult diaper and fill it with water to bathe in -- of course, he suggested warming it in the microwave and you can't do that. A cold shower -- oh, forget that! In icy conditions you'd be asking for pneumonia. Forget the Huggies then unless the electricity is on before the water; then you'll find they hold an immense amount of water. You can stand in the shower and bathe using them, squeezing them over yourself. (It can be fun if you and your wife do it together.) I hope you'll be with power soon.

| NCO ![]() | I'm back. I think the power outages are finally over. Since Tuesday, we've been suffering outages. Of cause it usually been in the evenings at least for us rural people. While it got down to the high single digits and I'm not talking about wind chill factor. Once the storm was finally over, we got about 3 inches of ice and hail.
