| Non-Commissioned Officer ![]() | Can I ask someone a question? What is this means...I hear it all the time. "Igonorance is a bliss? If anyone would be willing to answer that I would appreciate it, thank you! Just to remind everyone, I came from another country, so I am just wondering to find out.

| Icing Queen ![]() | Good to see you, Kat! "Ignorance is bliss" can mean that by not knowing all the terrible details about something, you can remain innocent... OR, that someone is so dumb that they don't know they should be upset about something.

| Jr. Officer ![]() | The person is totally unaware of what is going on around them, and is totally ignorant of impending doom.....thusly "Ignorance is bliss" The sky is falling, but I'm too absorbed in listening to Brittany Spears.... The tremendous mistake I made yesterday is about to come down on me, but I have zero clue about what is going on...

Thank you very much Conlor, and KBay84, and I am glad to be back around. I shall have to come with more interesting events when I find anything at all; but in the meantime, I have homework and I am trying to get my ASSOC degree in generals so that I could get a good start on my career plan! Miss you all, and take care. I support any soldiers who are going out there and fighting for their good country, and I hope that I will be on a mission to meet great people in the military as I enter the workforce and etc... Flowers are again...my favorite gift and in general what I love the most. (I know, women are weird, LOL). Take care all with the best of everything for now! K.

| Banned ![]() | Kat, it's good to see you back! I've missed you bunches. I think that Connie explained it best. Not knowing all the circumstances, one can remain innocent, and since we associate innocence with a childlike happiness oblivious to all that is happening in the world around the child, not knowing all the background or circumstances, one remains very happy. It's the opposite of the saying, "A little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing," because a little bit of knowledge doesn't give the complete picture but is enough to destroy innocence and thus robs a person or a people of their childlike faith and happiness. |
