| Non-Commissioned Officer ![]() | From my stand point, these camera men where quiet brave to do what they where doing without any complaints of why they are there. In general, life is all about safety, and when he says that he stands behind a camera, that was quiet smart, then if somebody was to watch that and couldn't even compare their life. Most people don't even try to have any chances to even pick up a pitch fork or work over hours just to support their family or go to school or military just to do what their ambition even though it takes hard work and sacrifice to do it. Now days you see people stand behind any electronic scene like TV, and can't even grasp one thing of understanding of the reality check or the importance in life. Unlike myself, I am willing to do anything that I am absolutely capable of doing, and that is also getting my degree in whatever that I would fit it. So, society is just broken into parts where people are just darn too lazy, stubborn, and ignorant.(period). Why?!...I don't even know!

| Non-Commissioned Officer ![]() | 10 U.S. troops killed on Memorial Day - Conflict in Iraq - MSNBC.com There is more. You look at that, well, there are other who are not willing to do whatever it takes to fight and support their country. So, living as a single person and happy, I found out more than anything, people everywhere are ungreatful with what's going on without realizing that without reality and sacrifice, there is no freedom and there is no structure anywhere. As much as I am living and have the ambition to whatever, I believe that the structure that we had before is lost, and also our human and family values that helps us to establish freedom. Obviously not a lot people think the same. I kinda find this important and maybe I have learned alot from my friends and other people as well, but there is nothing that will stop anyone from doing this, because every different decision is made upon a personal individual.

| Jr. Officer ![]() | First thought; I am suprised. My experience with National Geographis is that the staff are totally liberal tree huggers. I know from past readings that some of their staff have been in war-torn areas, but the coverage has always been negative towards U.S. military participation. This particular segment tells me that the reporter/journalist has become imbedded and has formed a bond with the teams that he is gathering information on for his story. I am utterly sick of the spin that the home-bound editors put on the stories from their journalists....and I would hope that N.G. would be true to the facts.
