| Sensei   |  Empty nest syndrome I don’t know if that’s it but I happiest when my kids are at home… Jennifer’s been out on her own now for over 6 years and Alex since he left for Iraq in 2004, not counting the month he was at home on his return. Alex just asked me today if he and his fiancé, Ashley, could move back home so they could save money… Heck ya!!!! Besides,, I hate mowing the lawn…

| Monkey Mouse   | Re: Empty nest syndrome My kids were all 4 years apart so I got to ease into the empty nest. They've all moved back once to get on their feet which was fine because they then moved on and were independent. It was just short term and aimed at a goal and that helped them. From talking to different friends, real world and on-line, the problems come when they are in their 30's and still dependent on parents. That's not good for either side, IMO.
