LONDON — Lee Redmond, 65, earned an entry in the latest edition of Guinness Book of Records with fingernails that have now reached a resplendent 24 feet, 7 inches.

And Aaron Studham, 17, joined the ranks of the weird, wacky and wonderful with the tallest hair on the planet.

It's a real icebreaker with the girls," Studham said of his Mohawk hairstyle proudly peaking at 24 inches.

"It took me five to six years to grow," the Massachusetts teenager said. "I don't wear it up all the time, but when I do, it takes about 45 minutes to an hour to put it up."

Redmond, of Utah, shares a center spread in Guinness 2007, released Thursday, with the proud owners of the world's narrowest waist, stretchiest skin and longest ear hair.

Every day Redmond treats her nails with warm olive oil and nail hardener.
"I clean them with a toothbrush ... and always keep them manicured," she said.

Kind of hard to imagine what all she has to give up in order to have those nails that long.

Great BBQ rib's where licking your fingers is part of the experience.

Scratching an itch without using some kind of hand held device.

And maybe worst of all.

Little things like a long trip or vacation when there isn't access to a bidet.
