| Fallen Member  | Re: Eisenhower's Farewell I read this a few years ago. I am not entirely sure it is true, but I think most can relate to it. During Ike's first campaign for president the rumor was that he was a little slow; So a reporter ask his views on the world situation. The question was a bit broad, you think? Ike reportedly look at the reporter a moment , then said, "The world is more like it is now, than ever before." With that Ike left the stage! |
