The probability of heatwave conditions in part of England and Wales between 0900 on Sunday and 0900 on Tuesday is 50%

Southerly winds will bring some very warm air across England and Wales over the weekend and into early next week with increasing humidity later in the period. The warmest air is likely to affect central and eastern parts of England with a 50% chance that temperatures in northeast England, Yorkshire and Humberside will reach daytime maxima of 29C and nighttime minima of 17C.

I remember years ago training at master Master Koyama’s dojo in Phoenix Arizona. 100-110+ degrees out no AC just a swamp cooler on the roof…

Heh I volunteered to help teach the kids outside in the car-park last night so I was in the cooler air

Well, compared with this, it's not that bad. This is part of a prayer request for our troops that Paul put in the Prayer club last night:

According to the weather reports, it is my understanding that it is 122 degrees in Iraq right now - and the low will be 111!

They will certainly need our prayers!

111F is 44C - just thinking about that heat is bad for me!

Remember that I am on the same lattitude as Moscow and in one of the coldest parts of the UK for most of the year!

Wow! 85 Degrees and you get a heat warning. It would have to be at least 100 - 105 here in South Carolina to have that happen. And yes, it is time to ask the lord for a bit of mercy on our soldiers in the harsh environment of Iraq. May they all have easy duty, today. Especially considering the amount of equipment they must wear and carry in their duties.
