| QUEEN OF THE BEASTS ![]() | I liked this quote and wanted to share it with the tpads members. The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearances, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company…a church….a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice each day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past…we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude…I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you…we are in charge of our attitudes. By: Charles Swindoll

| Bad kitty...bad kitty...shame! ![]() | Taking responsibility for the attitude you maintain, as life happens to you. What a concept... We all know people like that. You know, the ones that blame everything bad in their lives on external things....I think they're called democrats. ![]()

| Razak's Roughneck ![]() | Political affiliation has little to nothing to do with "responsibility". Lets just take government spemnding for exampl: If "Republicans" are supposed to be "responsible" over "Democrats", maybe someone can explain Budget 2007 to me. Republicans screamed for over 40 years on the reckless nature of Democrat spending. What have the last 10 years wrought us? Smaller government? Lowered debt? Shorter trade balance? Y'all keep dreaming that there is an actual difference between the two premier parties in the US. The Democrats want to control your economic life. The Republicans want to control your private life. BOTH parties want to CONTROL some aspect of your life using the Government as an intermediary. Neither one of 'em actually stand for smaller government, personal responsibility and greater individual liberty and freedom. 'course 98% of y'all will disagree with me anyhow....

That attitude is one of indifference to anything but control, and those controlled have acquired an attitude of greed mixed with laziness and contempt for holding jobs, accepting responsibility, etc..
