Default Award Help; Any one have the Schutzenschnur?
OK, I have looked in AR 670-1 and have found where the award goes, but does anyone happen to have a picture of how it should look. I did google it and saw an Air Force soldier wearing one but it didn't look right IAW Army regs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I found one of the Active Duty folks here at the hanger has one. He informed me that 2 buttons have to be sewn on; 1 centered on the shoulder loop(underneath and in the same spot as the unit crest) and the other sewn on the backside of the lapel, so the cord itself doesn't interfere or cover up the name plate, or the Unit Affiliation Crest. So there is no specific measurement for the lower(lapel) button. So this is going to be fun to do...

I earned the fitness badge in the 70's. Those that challenged and earned the marksmanship laniard wore it differently than worn now. Then the pt badge was center of the right pocket and the laniard was one end attached to the epillette button, one to the first front button. It's changed since then. The Badge is located above the pocket right side, and you have to add buttons to make it look decent.

This is probably not the pic to show here for the fitness badge, but oh well!
