Who Remembers Me???

I know some of you guys and gals remember me, I was on the site a bit before the beginning of the year.

As you may remember I am an Infantryman, deployed to Iraq. After several months I finally got internet in my room so I figured I'd check in and give you an update on myself.

Well, I am no longer Infantry, well, in a sense. When my Battalion arrived in Ramadi they realized they were short Armor, so they pulled infantry platoons to supplement the Tank Companies. What a change, I went from a ground pounder with a machine gun, to a Driver with a Tank. But it is all working out good, and I have one hell of a lot of fun scaring Hajji when I roll out to sector.

I saw you here just a few minutes ago, and was very happy to see you and to hear from you! Are you still "over there," or have you come back to the states? Sounds like you're still in Iraq. It's Andy, right? I'm still praying for you - but there were several of you leaving together, and I'm not sure which which is which! :icon_redf

In any case, it's great to hear from you - and even if Beast does tell you that now you're support, you are tanks, so that's okay!

Keep in touch. I just may make this a sticky for you. The new CDiv Cdr. is sfga and you'll find a thread to that affect, if you haven't already.

So good to see your name here. Wow. What a change for you. Infantry to Tanks. Heehee. Yeah, Beast is gonna have something to say about that. Please post as often as you can and let us know how/what you are doing.
