Dumb questions. Is that normal for that weapon? Do they always stand right in back like that?

![]() | Not to nit-pick, but my discriminating eye for military technology tells me two things. 1. That looked more like an anti-tank gun than an artillery piece, particularly since the projectile was loaded as a single cartridge by one man with what seemed little effort. It was laid for direct fire, and is too small a caliber to be used for another other than in anti-vehicle role. 2. It appeared that as soon as the breach slide up the weapon discharged immediately. Such a misfire is probably a result of either the weapon not being safe with some type of mechanical firing pin impediment and the firing pin striking the primer. Poor guy, that the breech recoils back with the same force as the projectile which exits the barrel.
