Well all it seems my streak of bad luck has yet to stop. I decided I would go to the Lenny Kravitz concert held here in Rio De janeiro on the beach. Seemed like a good idea at the time. Over 1 million people at this concert it was free what a good time. Well I got there and was with a group of about 9 people. Three of us got seperated from our group so i got on the phone to find out where they were at taht point my wallet was taken from my pocket. got to love those thieves. I did not have to much money in there, but what pisses me off more than anything is they got the pictures of my family and my phone numbers to friends and the whole nine yards. I shut the cards down and placed a fraud alert on my credit reports so taht no one could get a credit card through my social security number. It seems to only get better i keep asking myself is it 2006 yet? I will be glad to get out of here. been robbed three times in this city and it is getting a little old. I am about on the verge of just going on a rampage and beating the shiat out of some people, but I am trying to keepp my temper under control. So here I am plenty of money in the bank and I can not get to any of it. How wonderful is that. i guess the good side is I will be saving some. bad thing is I have not purchased my engagement ring for my girl yet. Sorry all had to have some place to vent.

Yeha not having much luck here I guess with bad luck it can only get better.

Let it be a lesson more than anything. Know that anytime you are around large crowds like that you have to take certain precautions. Here is my trick when traveling, you can try this sometime:

Find a nice comfortable money belt, one lightweight and comfortable, and put most of your money in it. Leave around $20.00 (and no important ID's, numbers or credit cards) in your wallet. When you are running low on funds there is always someplace you can sneak some money out of it. If you wallet gets lifted there won't be much in it.

Yeah that is what I need to do Dan. I was actually getting ready to put my wallet in my front pocket when I realized it was lifted. It was partly my fault, but as you said it is a lesson to be learned.

We used to carry our Social Security cards around, but now they say not to keep it in the same place as your driver's license.

Lesson learned i guess of course my drivers liscence has my social security number on it.
