I know of one zoomie that looked at me DEAD IN THE EYE WHEN I showed him pics of life in the field, and I asked him what he thought about his times in the field. He gave me a weird look and said with a straight face: "What the hell do you mean the field???????? WE DID'NT CAMP!!!!!!!!"

| Jr. Officer   | Re: All Battalions need this discipline officer!!! My buddy in Pristina sent me that...that guy acts like how my Sgt Maj would LIKE to act! I have two buddies that are in the Air Guard, both were Marines first, and they have a very hard time of it...especially when the officers and even the lowliest enlisteds are on a first name basis. In their (my buddy's) defense, they have about the same living environment in Iraq and Afghanistan that our Marines have....
