Oh, darn, Ellen! I was hoping you were looking for a job cleaning houses! I would have hired you. I do my own perversions - but none with other women. Like you, I am heterosexual!

I can type, file and all that good stuff - but I'm retired. I wish you luck, though. I think it's a wonderful gesture towards helping Beast get the money for the bar! Hmmm. Now what could I do?

But seriously....all silliness aside I was told this afternoon that due to reorganizing of the company my job has been eliminated and that my last day is tomorrow (Tuesday, 3/8/05)!! So as of Wednesday....I'm a free multi-tasking, perverted and talented Administrative Assistant!! Woo-Hoo!!

Oh Ellen, I am so sorry. I've been there and done that - NOTHING is as devastating as losing a job through "reorganization." It hurts and I wish there was something that I could say that would make it hurt less. Just know that my love and prayers are with you. Collect the unemployment - You paid for it and are entitled to it. More than anything, realize that it's the state of corporate America and that it has nothing to do with you or your talents.

Thanks Cal!! I do realize that it's not me but what the company is going through right now. And to be honest.....it feels "right" moving on. With the five years of experience and growth that I've gotten from my co-workers and what I have achieved at this job, I'm realisitic and confident enough to know that there's a better opportunity out there for me!! As they say....."The possibilities are endless!!"
