2005 Trackpads Formation - Updated Poll

Several months ago the idea of a Trackpads Formation was put out for people to consider. As time has gone on some things may have changed that may effect the way you might want to consider for the formation ("Ft.Pad" and "Padtown" Get-Together 2005). The initial poll results were/are:

Ft. Knox/Louisville, KY (Armor Conference in May) 17 - 35.42%
New York, NY (Fleet week May/June) 4 - 8.33%
Denver, CO 4 - 8.33%
Laramie, WY (crash Dad's place or at least vicinity) 4 - 8.33%
Chicago, IL 6 - 12.50%
Las Vegas, NV 7 - 14.58%
Deadwood, SD 2 - 4.17%
Minneapolis, MN 1 - 2.08%
North Woodstock, NH 3 - 6.25%
Maryland (Snow's place - just kidding, Snow!) 0 - 0%
Voters: 34.

Initially and overwhelmingly Ft. Knox seemed the natural choice for anybody who has done anything armor in the U.S. Army - it is where all the training was/is done (or at least that is what I was told). There was to be an armor conference that was to be open to the public and so it seemed natural that this would be a GREAT choice. Then Hannibal told us that Ft. Knox had canceled the Armor Conference this year - but there was no way of knowing who might have voted based on the Armor Conference alone for Ft. Knox. So, here is a new and updated poll to think about IF YOU WANT TO MEET IN FORMATION, WHERE YOU WOULD BE WILLING TO TRAVEL TO. The only "locked" dates would be for New York if it was chosen to make Formation coincide with Fleet Week - then we would be looking at the last week in May roughly.

I voted Kentucky because I am going to be there the last week of May and the first week of June. This would be my only chance of attending as I will not have the money to pay for another plane ticket after taking an interenational flight from here to the states. If it is close to KY I can always drive, but do not intend to drive some 10 hours as it cuts my time with my family down. That is why I made my choice as Kentucky. I can be there after Memeorials day. Just my two cents.

Far enough away so as to not overwhelm Dad and Jen, yet close enough by car (2 hours) that we can all have one heck of a great barbecue as part of the Formation! It really is God's country ... Colorado/Wyoming - my preference, too, Bluehawk!

Cal right now you know why Vegas is about my limit. I would love to meet this bunch but with the health thing I got to be close to the nest.
