Exclamation ANOTHER one?!
I just saw a snippet on the news. Looks like another 'Major tropical depression' (Ivan) is developing in the Carribean. From the track predictions, it might slam into Mexico/Texas area.

This is like the third hurricane in about less than a month!

There's a retired engineer who lives about 25 miles south of me. He built... a castle, yes, a castle. Being so close to the Washington DC area, he built it so strong that even if a nuke was dropped on Arlington, Virginia (across the Potomac River from DC) his place would be undamaged. I've seen what he's done in the foundations and in the reinforced concrete below. He has a basement that has 15 foot high ceilings. You could run a tank over the upper part and it would still be standing.

My kind of house. This think could take a hurricane or a tornado with busted windows only. No sweat.

It's a combination bed and breakfast, antique shop, and weapons store. Great place.
