Who here reads this guy? Who thinks he is great stuff?

I love this guy! Here's some 'maxims' from him....

1. Every real teacher is myself in disguise.

2. Shop for security over happiness and we buy it at that price.

3. Guilt is the tension we feel to change our past, present or future for someone else’s sake.

4. Some choices we live not once but a thousand times over, remembering for the rest of our lives.

5. We know nothing till intuition agrees.

6. Get this in your mind early: We never grow up.

7. All we see of someone at any moment is a snapshot of their life, there in riches or poverty, in joy or despair. Snapshots don’t show the million decisions that led to that moment.

8. The mildest suggestion for change is a death threat to some status-quo.

9. Compelling reason will never convince blinding emotion.

10. It is never our fault, we can’t take responsibility for it. If we can’t take responsibility for it, we will always be it’s victim.

11. We don’t have rights until we claim them.

12. When we put up with any situation that we don’t have to put up with, it’s not because we are dumb. We put up with it because we want the lesson that only that situation can teach, and we want it more than freedom itself.

13. Happiness is the reward we get for living upto the highest rights we know.

14. Life doesn’t require us to be consistent, giving, generous, kind, cruel or whatever. It does however, require us to live with the consequences of our choices.

TWO librarians have told me that Richard Bach is the pen name for Stephen King!
